We’re delighted to announce that Remme has finalized a high-profile partnership, teaming up with leading identity services provider GlobalSign, a GMO Internet Group company.
From this day on we can proudly say that Remme has become a blockchain-built company, bringing its services and products to enterprises. This is also a huge step towards creating next-gen decentralized identity and access management solutions for people and machines.
With 5 million Digital IDs issued to websites and machines, GlobalSign provides trusted identity and security solutions to enable businesses, large enterprises, cloud-based service providers and IoT innovators worldwide to conduct secure online communications, manage millions of verified digital identities, and automate authentication and encryption. Founded in 1996, GlobalSign’s status is underlined by their client base, which includes companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft, Yahoo!, BBC, Virgin, Adobe, HSBC and Intel, all of whom rely upon GlobalSign for their enterprise security needs.
By partnering with Remme, GlobalSign will leverage our product Keyhub as a standalone whitelabel certificate discovery, inventory and management platform for its customers. In the coming months, we are looking forward to helping GlobalSign customers make informed decisions about their existing certificate inventories and understand what areas of their IT environment require attention.
Remme: the road to here
We recently released a global vision of the Remme product suite. Each distinct product has a unique role to play in furthering our goal of making authentication safer for everyone. Our Identity solutions ecosystem comprises:
Protocol, an open-source solution that secures online communication among browsers, apps, servers and devices by utilizing a decentralized environment organized in a distributed network.
Auth, designed to address the challenges with human identity and access management for modern organizations of all sizes and private users all over the world. A rich variety of Auth features such as multifactor passwordless authentication, omnichannel single sign-on and self-sovereign identity, will help to build a consistent user experience, protect against data breaches, and seamlessly integrate into the digital lifestyle of users.
Keyhub, built with the goal of managing machine digital IDs. It treats machines as identities, not assets. Keyhub discovers SSL/TLS certificates (known and unknown) in complex corporate environments, be it internal or external; provides complete visibility to machine IDs in one platform; and transforms complex systems into a simple-to-use web solution. It is design-oriented, cost-effective, scalable, and easy to integrate.
While Protocol and Keyhub are already running, we’re focused on delivering Auth solutions.
GlobalSign is one of the most significant partnerships we have sealed to date. We’re working diligently behind the scenes to educate more enterprises, including CAs, about the benefits of decentralization in IAM. In the meantime, we look forward to working with GlobalSign and forging a lasting partnership that benefits both parties.
